Are you married kids, pets, etc?

I have been married for 15 years and have 3 awesome children: Devon, Chase, and Kylie. I am also the owner of a malt poo and siamese. They supervisor my efforst on a daily basis...trying to figure out how to get them to earn their keep... such is the life!

Do you have any hobbies?

Is Facebook considered a hobby? How about HGTV? LOL I love to create. My mind can go farther than my wallet unfortunately. A walk around the lake on a summer day is a good day for me. I think that I'm simple. My husband begs to differ.

How long have you been in business?

I have been in direct sales in the past and found it a nice avenue for a stay at home. You truly can work this business the way you need without an employer to request time off. I really love that part of direct sales. I have only been with Beauty Society for 2 months. I'm a newbie so you wouldn't be alone - the blind would lead the blind. :)

What has been your biggest challenge?
Trying to get gals to branch out and try something new. I would love for them to see this can really make a difference in their skin and it's not all hype just to get you to buy into a lucrative compensation plan. This business is great and the potential for income is definitely there. There are many other incentives as well... I am working towards getting and Ipad 2.

What has been your greatest strength?
I would have to say that I have been blessed (or maybe cursed) with the gift of gab. I find no difficulty in sharing a product line that I love. That would be Beauty Society.

Where would you like to be in 10 years?
Looking as though I was 10 years younger. But in all seriousness, I would like to be self sufficient with my finances. I would also love to encourage women to follow their dreams - no matter what they are. Building a team would be a thrill for me as well. Maybe living in California where the company was founded. The great thing about this business is your job goes where you do.

What advice would you give women starting out in home business?

This is what I did and it aggravated some but you need to remember: This is ultimately your choice and the more you love what you do the easier it will be for you to do it. Be careful of your overhead. Do not spend alot of money out of pocket. Try to earn your way through hosting parties and if the company sponsors raffles for being on phone calls etc. Let people speak. Listen to what they are looking for. Not everyone is going to be a customer but they do have friends and family that could be. Always follow through. If you make a mistake you learn and live and move ahead. Don't let it hold you back. Dream big. Believe and see what it can do for you! Be confident and have faith in yourself. Ignore negative...

Do you have more than one business?
Currently I do. I make candles called Sweet Angel. These candles are beautiful and came from my desire to shed a little light on a dark situation. Each verse has a Bible verse to offer hope and encourage. They are beautiful and serve their purpose well.
